The purpose of messagemusic.org is to:
- Share God-inspired music to the general public.
- Provide worship music and other resources for worship leaders around the world.
- Povide a forum for those involved in music or worship ministry to help each other to be more effective in their area of ministry.
Pastor Vin Dayal of the Third Exodus Assembly in Trinidad, conveyed exactly what we are trying to accomplish when he stated:
Every Revival produces its own hymnology. Every time there is a move of the Spirit of God in Power and men and women begin to see the unveiling of this great mystery of Redemption, they write and sing of it, because if they hold their peace, the very rocks will cry out.
In the Scriptures we read of Moses and Miriam, we read of Deborah and Barak, we read of David, of Asaph, and a great host of others, writing songs and singing of this great God and His wondrous works in their age and time. This pattern continued down through history, and we read of William Cowper, Eddie Pruitt, Fanny Crosby, Charles Wesley and many others, who, under the influence of the moving of the Spirit in their day, catching the inspiration, wrote of this great Redeemer and His work of redemption.
Today, in this last age, we have seen this complete unveiling of the hidden secrets of redemption and we see the Spirit who first moved in Genesis, once more moving in the earth, calling out and making ready a bride for the marriage of the Lamb, bringing her into Holy Union, and will soon change her and catch her into glory.
This great Holy Spirit has inspired many to write and sing once more as they see these great happenings in the spiritual realm, just as they sang when the Lamb took the book, and opened the seven seals, and when they saw the great harlot judged for her sins.
We trust that these songs will inspire our worship to a new height and will cause our cup to run over, as we worship the Lamb in spirit and in truth; and that it will inspire the quality of worship that can be inhabited by God, as it ascends to His throne. The kind of praises, which when sang in the spirit, can still open prison doors and deliver captives.
This is our sincere prayer and desire. May the songs that you find on this website bring you into the presence of God and be of help in your worship, both personally and in the church of the living God.
