I wrote this song on Sunday 26th March 2006. Bro. Ricardo had asked me for a
song that spoke of the love of Boaz and Ruth. It came very easily because I’d
been thinking about God’s great love for me, for His people, how He brought us
out in love, and in return all that we want is for Him to spread His skirt of
love over us and be our Lord and King. It was written with the greatest
gratitude and thanksgiving. The opening of the book of Ruth was to show us who
we are, and most of all, God’s deep and abiding love for us, and to make us
understand the certainty of God’s love that His perfect will and purpose is
fulfilled in His work for His Bride. That’s why I wrote, “Lord of the harvest
I’ve come to know Your Perfect will”
